About The Author

Dmitri Dubograev

Dmitri Dubograev is an American information technology and corporate attorney of Belarusian descent. Before graduating from The Washington and Lee University School of Law in 1994, he graduated with honors (~cum laude) from the Belarusian State University, Law Department in Belarus, in 1991. He was the winner of the military pentathlon (GTO) in Belarus in 1985 (18 and under) and the winner of the Law Student Olympiad in Belarus in 1988. He published numerous articles on corporate law and human rights in the former Soviet Union. As various cooperation agreements were developed by Ronald Reagan and Mikhail Gorbachev by the end of the Cold War, Dmitri Dubograev was chosen by his faculty to represent Belarus in one of the first USA-USSR student exchanges in 1988.
